Ya no kidding, parts will not get here until March 6-8. Waiting patiently.
Beautiful pics Cat. How do snow mobile pilots keep from getting decapitated from barbed wire?
29°F and light flurries this morning, going up to 40° today. The weather voice on the radio this morning is suggesting 4-8" of snow for Saturday night / Sunday Morning.
Lots of wild life encounters at various places on the drive to work this morning; skunk on the side of the road decided to stay in the ditch, possum ran across ahead of me, deer jumped out in front of me and I just missed it, and ABS saved me when a school bus jumped out in front of me from a jr. high school parking lot. Always an adventure when driving, but today was a little more adventure than I normally care for.
Welcome to the GM thread, Ortimber. Good luck with all that snow.
Eric, my Wife also has a specific order that she puts things on the conveyor to ensure the cashier or bagger bags them properly. And just to aggravate her, I'm going to start using the word trolley when I'm shopping with her.
We usually have a similar arrangement as Ron; she shops and unloads to inside the sunroom door, and I take them from there.
You got to watch out for those wild life bus drivers.....I probably have about a dozen dead skunks right now on my commute.
Yes, maybe that circus class is also known as Poli Sci.
LOL...
rain is about to start from system moving through, looks like some sleet for NW Maryland.
long day, fun having camera poked up my nose I swear until it came out my ear...weird looking at inside of head, but came
back ok, other than finding out I had a deviated septum which I didn't know, plus CT scan was clear.
He is still guessing, more tests ordered, but he thinks Meniere's disease, which at least is treatable.
Sure beats brain cancer...
Need to cut back on caffeine, now that will be very hard... Need to buy couple pounds of decaf tomorrow.
Drew hope they figure it out. Deviated septum means one side of your nasal passages is bigger than the other. Mine from a broken nose at age 20.
Got the 12 tomato plants covered with some plastic. Well 11, but the last got it's own 1 gallon milk jug.
Finally bought a new Channel Master antenna. Works much better so far. Now get the VHS Fox 7 channel out of Austin (about 50 miles away). Waiting for this foggy funky clammy moist weather to subside someday to see if it works even better. Signal has more than doubled on most channels.
This late freeze we are getting the next few nights is rare for us. I was looking at southern Saskatchewan and they are -10F I guess they won't be planting tomatoes this weekend outdoors.
PJS, I'm trying to talk my daughter into learning a cello.... Any pointers or factoids I could use to catch her interest?
J- Thank you for the thoughts and prayers for our daughter. They want to keep taking her into the mainstream classrooms for short periods daily. Her austism is so debilitating because she fears the teachers or other kids will say her trigger words. She told my wife that when they say it, it makes her whole head hurt. We butted heads over her going in those classes. She does better in a quiet room, with limited people in it. I thought of an analogy that I believe I'm going to type up and tell the coordinator. I'm going to tell her that I'll take her to the circus next year, and put her in the same cage as the lions and tigers with an assignment to do, and then we'll see how she likes it and if she can get her best work done....
San Antonio is much nicer on a cool day, with no major functions going on.
The original Texan settlers were allowed in by the Mexican gov't, unbeknownst to themselves, to be human bait and give the Indians someone else to raid. Texas' Original Human barrier.
