Stupid is as Stupid does. The real clowns are the pols that pass stupid legislation. It seems that every State government and the Federal government have their share of clowns in office.

Converting jails and prisons to mental health treatment and drug rehabilitation centers does not work. Criminal thinking by clowns in office.

60°F and ,42 inches rain. At this point the day looks promising. Just a bit too early to be sure.

Not the best night’s sleep. Early yesterday I managed to trip over a 4 inch elevation change on the concrete. Just slammed my foot right into it and feel forward landing mostly on my outside right thigh. Expected to awaken to quite a bruise but none yet, just sore. Might be an ibuprofen on the menu today.

Funny you should mention the decompression valve, Wng. I just noticed a little black button on my new-to-me MS 261 yesterday. The saw was idling at the time, and when I pushed it, the saw stopped. Tried to read the fine print on the little button, but it was too small. Couldn't get the button to pop back out with my fingers, but when I started the saw the cord was soooooo much easier to pull and it lit right off. That's when it dawned on me that it was a compression release, and I'll be using it from now on. Life just got a little easier!:dance1:

Right. Bought it used off ebay, didn't get a manual. Didn't get a bar, either, but there was a slot cut in the side of the box where it came out during shipping. Think it could'a been a total lack of packing material to keep things from flying around in the box during transit? But that's a whole 'nuther story...

Apparently I did read the manual, because I just found a .pdf version on my laptop. That doesn't mean I remember any of it, though.:confused3::laughing:

Glad your arm is getting better. Mine is getting better. I can raise my right arm and touch my left ear. Been over a year since I have had that kind of motion. Which means I can comb my hair with right arm. Still working on strength.


I use Waze, not as much as it did when we travel with motorhome. Waze is owned by Google and uses Google Maps.
When you get in a traffic jam it can give you a alternate route. But that does not work after a while. Because there is a traffic jam on that route also.

I still use google maps traffic to see where the backups are. Waze to see where other things are...

We had about 3” in this corner of Maryland this am. I too, wish that the 290 had a decompression button!

long day, fun having camera poked up my nose I swear until it came out my ear...weird looking at inside of head, but came
back ok, other than finding out I had a deviated septum which I didn't know, plus CT scan was clear.
He is still guessing, more tests ordered, but he thinks Meniere's disease, which at least is treatable.
Sure beats brain cancer...
Need to cut back on caffeine, now that will be very hard... Need to buy couple pounds of decaf tomorrow.

When I was working I put away a lot of caffeine in the form of Rock Star's and Coke, and I mean a lot!

Since I've retired I stopped drinking drinks with caffeine. I sleep better and feel better. But I sure like the flavor/taste of those green Lime Freeze Rock Star's.

Good news on the CT scan. Deviated septum?
Instead of drinking decaf. Start reducing the amount of coffee you use to make your coffee. Then reduce the amount you drink each day. Switch to some other none caffeine drink to keep you happy and hydrated. That's what I did. I can now do without coffee and not have withdrawal.
