Kubota B8200(Sold), Ferguson TO30 (sold), JD 4110 (sold), Kioti NX4510
Hi Guys....Long time listener first time caller.

Just picked up a slightly used (~50hrs) 2017 NX4510 cab hydro, two remotes, + third function. Super excited to get started on some projects once the weather breaks.

50 hour service just completed (filters were a real pain, as many others have stated)

I appreciate all of the advice that I've gotten from this site during my countless hours of internet research.

Looked mainly at LS, Kioti, and Kubota. Looked at the LS and the Kioti side by side, and the Kioti looked much more stout, but was a bit more expensive (new). The Kubota was very refined, but the lift capacity was lacking, and the price was lacking in the wrong direction.

Congrats on the new tractor. I just got the same tractor last fall . Now have 65 hours. Like I read on this site, you may have some loose bolts. My level rod on loader came loose and I bent it up pretty good. Some Loctite fixed that. Only other issue I have had is an oil leak at rear of tractor. Think it might have to do with crankcase breather. Still looking into that. I agree with your view on Kubota. Lift capacity was a big plus with Kioti, and the price was 8k different. Enjoy the new purchase.

Thanks for the advice. I'll checked the level rod and it was tight, but I'll add some Loctite to keep it that way.

Only real question that I have so far is about the third function. I just have the bucket on it for now, so I hooked the two hoses together to keep the dirt out and avoid a deadhead in case the solenoid sticks (or whatever failure). When I trigger the 3rd function switch, it seems to load the engine. I was expecting with the hoses hooked together that the fluid would flow right through and not cause much load.

Did you get a factory 3rd function on the loader? When it comes to hydraulics, I'm not the best authority. Only have 2 remotes on the rear. Haven't used them so far.

Another issue I found was that all the lug nuts on the front wheels were very loose. When you did the 50 hour service, did you do both the hydraulic and HST filters? My 2016 manual talks about a HST filter, but doesn't list it in the service part. The HST filter was also expensive; $130.00.

3rd function was aftermarket that original owner had installed.

Have the same tractor and so far so good but am only up to 7 hours of use. My only complaint is it can be difficult to shift from neutral to medium range. Hope it improves with time.

Shifting seems to be a common problem. Mine has been getting better. Now at 70 hours usually shifts without issue. Unfortunately tractor is in shop getting rear main seal replaced under warranty. Not sure what went wrong. Overall quite happy with purchase.

The more hours, the better it gets, if it doesn't pull right in, bump the hydro pedal forward or backward lightly, to line the cogs up..no big deal:)

I will let you know since yours is a 2017 like mine, that I just had a warranty defrost kit fix installed to take care of a no heat w/ AC on condition.

While I was plowing snow this past year, I would have to cycle between the cold AC (to get windows defogged) back to heat only to warm ME back up. The fix is supposed to blow hot air while the AC compressor is engaged just like your car. If I turned the hot/cold dial all the way to hot w/ AC button on, I still only got cold air. Took them a little over an hour and they did it in my driveway rather than hauling into the shop.

Thanks for the hint. I tried my AC tonight to help with the defrost. It is about 20deg F here. When I hit the AC button, it blew cold for a few seconds, then when back to hot, and the AC light went off. Pushing the button doesn't seem to do anything now, and AC light will not come back on. Not sure if I blew a fuse or what happened. Didn't have time to investigate. Anyone have this happen?

On the plus side, did the first real thing resembling work (with the tractor that is)...lifted 800 lb out of my truck bed. That wasn't gonna happen with my little Kubota. NX couldn't even tell there was anything there to lift. Note to self....gotta get some forks. Lifting a pallet out with straps underneath it and wrapped around the bucket was a pain, but it worked in a pinch.

Could you expand on this some please. Mine fogs like mad.

Basically, the compressor has to run to remove moisture, understandably. But, while the AC is on, if you turn the temp all the way to hot, it apparently doesnt switch the blend from cold to hot.

The warranty fix included a new wiring harness along with a new control panel for the cab. New one LOOKS just like the old one. Took them a little over an hour to install.

Ok thanks because mine just fogs up like mad so this is good info.

Thanks! The tractor belongs to Patrick, who is in the EA Channel Group. I'll post a couple of still captures from a video he posted, but you're welcome to join and ask him!

Welcome to the pack. I have almost 500 hours on mine and no problems to report. Other than no "buddy seat", hope someone from Kioti reads this stuff.
