I look at pics of whom I believe to be David and a lot of the rest of the frequent posters here who have had "selfies" intentional or not posted and have come to the impression that we in all our many shapes and sizes actually look alike.

The snowsqualls rolled in ~4:30PM and it was 23ºF; 4 hours later it is now 2ºF. No way to determine snowfall accumulation at this point.

Seat time tonight! Cleared about 6 inches of snow. Temp now 18F and dropping quick. The wind is roaring through the trees outside. Forecast is 0 deg at 6 am, -0 deg at 7 am! :confused3:

Thanks for the pet pics around the fireplaces. Our Rocki (dachshund) is usually found beside the woodstove or under a fleece!

A lot of good suggestions. The only one I am not going to use is the one suggested by my wife. Even when I have to water the garden beds while they are gone I refused to be called their Bedwetter!

We dont have a fireplace. No need. Reverse cycle aircon if needed which isnt very often. Never had a frost here. No sleet, no snow. No firewood to cut.

On the subject of grapefruit and medications It's the ENZYME CPY3A4 that is the problem. Because of this enzyme more of the drug gets in your system and stays longer which can increasing side effects.

"Many drugs are broken down (metabolized) with the help of a vital enzyme called CYP3A4 in the small intestine. Grapefruit juice can block the action of CYP3A4, so instead of being metabolized, more of the drug enters the blood and stays in the body longer. The result: too much drug in your body."
