Rounded off drain plug

/ Rounded off drain plug #1,101
Yeah I've been procrastinating my kitchen crown molding and shower tiling. I'd trade for a drain plug!

Yep I finially put trim up on the pantry I built in our kitchen. Put a crown (really just flat stock up at ceiling) and base board up around the pantry I build out in our kitchen. It had been without trim for about 3 years now:confused2::ashamed:

Kando actually got it removed by the time we hit page three; but found the thread so entertaining that he didn't want to tell us.

Ah - We are still hoping for a Christmas Miracle :) or

Maybe Santa will provide all the appropriate tools mentioned in this thread to help get the drain plug out.

Simple solution is that Kando should just remove everything from the tractor except the drain plug. :duh: :duh:

Perhaps simply split the tractor and replace the transmission housing?

You could, but before doing that make sure you take the old transmission off of the old drain plug so you can reuse the original drainplug. :tractor: :tractor: :tractor: :tractor:

I’d just pour the oil out the top and than put the whole thing back together and refill. A new case is probably expensive. But if you went through all that effort it would be a shame to have to do it all again next year. You should just leave the transmission in the shop floor so it’s easy to turn upside down next year.

Maybe it's just me but I wonder if this thread has run it's course and peaked.

For a while it was funny. Now it's getting old.

The simple solution to that...("now it's getting old") is to just to stop looking at it.
