Dump Trailer to haul rk24

I am looking for the smallest dump trailer to haul an rk24. Has anyone come accross anything creative and econimical?

I may be able to assist by providing dimensional information on the RK24. Tractor weight with loader 2091 lbs, overall length with loader 136.5", width with bucket 50", backhoe weight 1120 lbs, mower weight 271 lbs., mower width 73.6". My advise is to not select any trailer that is not safe and/or has marginal payload capacity. I like to have 50% more payload capacity than the payload.

I just measured my RK24 and with FEL and backhoe measures 170" (14.16') to the back of the hoe if you swing the hoe left or right during transport.
Without the backhoe it's 150" (12.5') to the end of the lift arms.
With the backhoe stabilizers it is about 65" wide and about 63" wide without.
Hope that helps with the right trailer decision. (A dump trailer with 2' sides - 16' would work & 14' would be very tight if not too short without hanging over the ends)

I already have an rk24. I would like to haul it with the loader and backhoe attached.

For example, I found a 10’ dump trailer that would work for tractor and loader (no backhoe) by resting the front bucket over the front of the trailer.

I am curious to see what others have done.

This is my 10 foot dump,

If you leave the bucket hang over the front, simply leave the tailgate out, and haul the tractor with the backhoe,,,

Nothing says the backhoe has to be in the trailer,,
This trailer is 9,990 pound capacity.

I have a 12' dump, but I'm still waiting for my RK24 w/loader & hoe to arrive. I'll post up when I get it, should be this week sometime.

picked up my RK24 today here are a couple pics in the 6x12 dump. the hoe is right up to the front of the trailer and the loader had to rest on the tailgate

The backhoe needs to be secured to the trailer. Usually a strap. It can’t hang freely.

This is the first I have heard that the backhoe needs to be strapped down. The rk24 has a couple pins that secure the backhoe when not in use, does the backhow still need to be strapped?

it's 6' wide 12' long 18" sides
I got it through Tractor Supply Company, did not realize it was going to come with ramps and tie downs, it was a nice surprise

I can understand doing it in a pinch, but why would you want to haul your tractor like this? I don’t think the backhoe needs a strap if it has pins to secure it sideways and up or down.

OP asked about a trailer to haul a 24. RK sells one for that.

If OP also wants a trailer to do other things, then they can spend that 3 times (or more) higher money.

I would like to be able to haul my tractor to a site, load the dump trailer with fill, deliver load, repeat.

I don’t have a trailer that will haul my rk24 and I want a dump trailer. So why not get a trailer that will do both.

I meant wanting a trailer that’s the absolute minimum size to fit they required overhanging both ends.

I was not fast enough with the phone today,, but, we saw a 53 foot trailer hauling 80 foot wood power poles today,,
he did not seem to have an issue with overhang

It did take him close to 15 minutes to make a 90 degree turn at a traffic light. There was a LOT of traffic backed up,,, :confused2:

Tailswing with that load would be a real problem. The point is why but a trailer that you already know is pretty much too short?
