88 and watching a t-storm pass to the south, wishing we could catch the edge.
Regarding the PTO shaft, I have 4 different kinds, and a pto adapter on a pump. Most go on without struggling too hard, but the biggest and heaviest, on the 6 ft bush hog, can be tough, especially in cold weather. It has a big black slide collar that often requires 2 hands to press back. When it is really ornery, I use a method that I described on another thread and was jokingly accused of being a **** star and inventing a new move...I straddle the PTO shaft, pull back on the collar with both hands and push the shaft forward with both knees pressed against the shaft.,,has worked every time...like having a couple of extra hands.
Left early this morning for a dump run, haircut and diesel (not all at the same place, but that would be convenient).
Took my wife on a day trip to Winchester, VA yesterday...first time going to their "Old Town" with a lot of George Washington/French and Indian War history and Stonewall Jackson/Civil War history. Interesting fact - the city changed hands 72 times during the War Between the States, 13 times in one day. Another interesting thing - it is further north than Cape May, NJ.
