Good evening all. A humid 80F at the start, partly sunny, and calm wind. Sky cleared off late morning and early afternoon, reached a high of 97F then clouded up late afternoon and cooled off to 79F, rain north in OK and south in Dallas but not here. Slow day today, went to chapel, then home to cook breakfast. Stepdaughter came over to cook lunch, then nap.
Drew, you sound like you sweat a lot and may need more electrolyte. I use and powdered electrolyte with no added sugar, with original V8 thrown in.
Don I would unplug the microcell and find out. There may be more info on net, try to research if unplugging cures the now tuning message.
Prayers for all

Oh, David, forgot to mention about the awesome polished tool cabinet....is that old or a newer piece? Haven't seen one like it for a long time...

Your shop pics are a lot neater than you describe LOL

Cabinet is actually 2. Stainless Steel. Picked them up at Costco in 2006 or 2007. So glad I did. Not cheap, but wife was very supportive. Perhaps one of my less rusted assets.
Drawers are in need of a good going thru although they are mostly organized, sockets in one, wrenches in another, clamps another, etc. Drill bit drawer likely has bits needing to be tossed others sharpened.

Good morning all. If it wasn't for the wisps of vapour left behind by the planes taking off from Manchester airport, the sky here would be blue from horizon to horizon for the second day running. For us, consecutive days of a weather forecast showing only a sun symbol from dawn until dusk are something of a rarity.

I'm a terrible wood hoarder, I seem to keep everything apart from wood shavings, "just in case". Once it gets to winter though I will easily be tempted to offer David's 12 inch off cut as a snack to a hungry wood burner.

Is it true that once machinists have a milling machine and a lathe at home, they start making higher accuracy parts for those machines ? Then, once that's done, they use the tighter tolerance parts to make even tighter tolerance replacement parts ....

68 and a pink sky, going to 84. Had another big storm come through yesterday afternoon. More flooding.

Drinking my special roast coffee today - yum.

LS, would like to swap humidity with you for a few days, although will be relatively low tomorrow. Your shop looks well organized, as does David's.

Don, hard to believe a "neighborhood" could be 6 miles long/across/around. No wonder there are so many opportunities for you with so many neighbors. Glad whipper didn't run far.

LS, I had to chuckle this morning reading a new thread from a guy who wanted to buy a new LS tractor, and didn't know
which model to choose.

To which someone who didn't read the thread all that well then posted a very well written explanation of why the poster was very smart
to choose a GM LS motor, which us motorheads know is one of Detroit's best V8 engines.
Now if the OP wasn't a car guy, I'm chuckling thinking of the expression on his face reading this wonderful writeup on using LS motors for extra power,
with all kinds of question marks floating around in the air about why he needed a hopped up small block in his tractor. He was trying to choose between 20 and 40hp and here's this
guy giving him wonderful info on how to get at least 500....

It's either a great put on or just good reading.
Are you confused with a big V8 engine often?......

And while your wife may beg to differ, general opinion is there never was a bad LS....:D

cooler today, rain tomorrow
errands and weedeating this morning, maybe bush hogging this afternoon.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 51° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 77° with partly cloudy skies. All caught up on shopping and yard chores. Doctor appointment for continued pain in right arm. Probably more test. Then start rearranging some of tool drawers with trays. I seem to mix up all screw drivers, pliers and wrenches into one pile.

Buckeye, I see bad reviews for just about every router being sold. I choose Netgear because it was the only 3.1 modem available at Best Buy that I had $300 of gift cards. The R8500 router was on sale also. It has been discontinued. I wonder why. So far I have never had to do a reset after over a year. My son swears by Arris. Sorry yours keep needing resets.

David, I see you have the same Rigid table for your compound saw. Mine has work well for me. Like the extra large wheels. I have a pile of scrap wood in animal barn. Plus a lot of stored wood on second floor of that barn. But I find it easier to got to one of the big box stores to get what I need than dig thru the piles of wood. Leftover wood from that purchased ends up on one of the piles. :ashamed: I have 3 big box stores less that 5 miles from my place.

LS, shop looks good.

Don, good luck with getting TV working.

Drew, I thought of you yesterday, A couple of them ears of corn still in the husk would have tasted good after being grilled on the BBQ while I was smoking a steak.

Payers for all those in need.

Good Morning All.
