Hi gentlemen,

Need some major help here, average home owner. just bought used unit and working it hard.
All started when my backhoe encountered a broken hose and I temp-repaired it.
The unit started to get weak pressure and move slow, I disconnected the backhoe and tried the front loader. It was slow acting also.
I then tried to operate the steering, that also started to fail.
I drained the fluids and changed filters, thinking maybe that is the issue?
Not to mention that I changed the oil filter ,fuel filter, air filter, lubed the unit. Thinking that I will be golden.
So the big test on Friday the 13th?? I started the unit and let it warm up, tried my front loader ( Nothing ) 3 point hitch ( Nothing ) steering ( Nothing )
I'm concerned I destroyed the Hydraulic pump, If so. Is it worth fixing. Please help some one..

Best regards,
Tractorless..

Proper fluid level?
Will it move fwd/rev?
not familiar with that age of unit but....have you crawled underneath and inspected for any loose plugs?
There maybe something electrical that is holding it out.
Does it have a Loader lock out? is it in the lock/unlock position?
Someone with hyd. experience should chime in soon....
on edit did you drain the hyd. fluid? was it discolored, grayish, brownish any metal shavings pouring out from drain. How about metal shaving draining from any of the filters when removed for service?

Those are about the most common things that come to mind so when other jump in you are ready.

No I did not, there was fluid in there. but when I release the clutch it makes a grinding loud noise.
When i changed the fluid there where metal filings on the magnet plug.

What do you mean you temp repaired it? What did you do? When you disconnected the BH did you shut off the remote or did you leave it engaged? There should be a valve with an A-N-B position... once the BH is removed that vave needs to be put in the N position. At least there is on my Kioti DK35

I installed a metal sleeve with hose clamps, I don't remember disengaging any controllers.

You said you disconnected the BH... I don't have a CK20, but with my BH I need to place the rear remote valve in the N position or I will damage the hydraulic pump when I disconnect it.

Using a metal sleeve and hose clamps shows you have no appreciation of how dangerous a hydraulic leak can be.

Injecting high pressure fluid through your skin and into your body is incredibly dangerous and, if you do it, you need to get to a hospital

Before you injure yourself, get some knowledgeable help.

Further the risk to causing serious damage to a component or pump is very real and happens in a fraction of a second. There is no: "lets just try it and see what happens."

This is a photo of the result of a hydraulic mistake, Part no longer available.

I'd suggest going to the nearest Kioti dealer and asking them to explain. Unfortunately, CK20 owners that are here don't know , no sense of taking any chances.

From the sounds of it and with your limited knowledge on this type of equipment, I would either transport it to a local dealer or have one send a service tech out and see what is wrong with the tractor and then you can decide if it’s worth repairing or cutting your loses.

Does your tractor have one pump that supplies steering and another for implements? If yes for both of thes to fail completely would indicate no oil getting to the pumps or the pumps are not turning. Normally Even a worn pump will create some movement.
