68 JD 400 hydraulics acting up.HELP!

Well I had both filters off again and placed the gasket in the housing and bolted the caps back on and no leaks. So I proceeded to fill the transmission to the full line on the stick cycling the different hydraulics as I checked it and everything worked better and the tractor moved in gear with little to no hesitation so it looks like the cleaning of the screen and changing the filters fixed the problem. However just as I finished bolting the step/ grate back on I noticed that now there was a dripping of fluid from the backhoe filter housing. Not as bad as the first time and it didn’t start leaking until a solid half hour or more after it was running but leaking non the less. The transmission filter was dry as a bone but the hoe filter leaked again. I guess I will have to try again tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed that the third time is the charm.

Filters, taken off and re- installed, this time no leaks and all hydraulics seem to working properly with little to no delay in forward or reverse engagement. Cleaning the screen and changing the filters seems to have corrected the issues.
