So what do you think these rims would be used for? Obviously they would require an interchangeable, compatible center section. Maybe they're meant as replacements for the later 3 cylinder Ford tractors?

Yes they are a much more common style. Here's a video showing the old Ford style that I was referring to.

I stand corrected. When looking for images or videos of these old Ford spinouts, I found a reference that Walt's Tractor sells some of these old style replacement rims.

For those with odd wheels and a fat wallet, Unverferth can cut the centers out of wheels and weld in one of their centers with the correct bolt pattern and center hole that you want. I had it done once and they do an absolutely perfect job. Flawless workmanship.

I had 30" wheel centers with a Ford bolt pattern and I wanted the standard 8 bolt on an 8" center with a 6" center hole so I could use on a different tractor. No problem.

Nothing yet, picking at it myself. Down with a sinus bug now, bit me hard yesterday. New tube for the tire arrived so looking into getting that switched out.

Since this is an advice seeking thread, my observation would be first things first before you snap off that remaining plug stub while not focused and have a real problem a few bucks won't fix. Right now it's just chuckles over beer but things can go south.

Pretty sure I have NEVER seen a left-hand thread drain plug!

Gave it another go with a decent pipe wrench, got a good hold on the threads and thought I had managed to get it. Just started stripping down the threads.

If you have a propane torch heat around it a bit. Grab it again and hit the wrench with hand. Rapid bumps work best. Or a hammer if you have room.
If that doesn't work getting a nut welded to it is your best bet.

It’d be messy but, can’t you just remove the entire pan? Then you’d at least have good access to work on it.

It's the transmission drain plug, pretty sure I would have to split the tractor.
