The B2650 count down has begun!

I hate how the power beyond adapter for this valve sticks out so far. Instead of being a set screw plug inside the valve like others. It would be nice to keep the fittings tight.But it is what it is.
I’m trying to figure out how to bring the levers up inside the fender spot where the 12v plug is. I ordered the factory kubota end grips for the levers.

Hey Dan. I was wondering why you had the power beyond 90 out like that. They dont have a plug to go inside like mine you are saying and that adapter is the plug? I had originally thought to bring my levers up in the spot you are talking, which is not impossible, but would sure be some tricky fabbing to get them in there from where the valve is for sure. I did some dry runs on it, but it seemed the amount of throw on the levers from where the valves are would be marginal to fit in that spot, so I went the other way. I also just kind of wanted to keep that tray spot. Not saying it wont work, and you might very well have some better ideas than I did. It would be great to see you get them in there. It is a good spot for sure. Good luck on it and keep us posted.

Yes. The 1” piece you see between the valve and the 90 is the power beyond adapter. It has a sleeve with an oring in it that goes inside the valve. This adapter threads into the valve and then your hydraulic fitting threads into the power beyond adapter. This make the fitting stick out farther than I would like. Yeah the levers will be a challenge. I will probably end up doing what you did. I think all the bends in the levers will make it hard with the valve back there. If the valve was up farther so the levers were going more straight down it would work better.

I know what you mean Dan. But there is no good way to mount the valves up there and be able to tie in everything for sure. Maybe you will think of something. One other way, but would end up costing some extra is to run Levers with cables back to the valves. If you end up going like I did, the bolts I used to replace the factory levers are 8mm x 1.25. Finally, we got a few dry days and I got the B2650 down into my property to start fixing trails with the rear blade. The R4 tires (at least this big of them) isn't nearly as bad in mud as I've read. I was able to pull the blade into the ground and tear the high edges into the center rain ruts and drag some material down for later use.

My wife sat by a fire and drank beer as I (played) worked on a section of logging road.

She just shakes her head in confusion as I play with the tractor... To her, it's a waste of money and a toy. To me it's an essential part of our world being that we have 15 acres on a pretty serious slope, and that we use 8 months if the year for social gatherings.

I am still shocked at how supportive my wife was of me buying my Kubota BX25. It was even more shocked when she later gave me the go ahead to upgrade to a B 2650, which I never did.

Got the 2nd hose made up last night. Going to stop at Home Depot after work to get the barbed tee. Maybe get the valve install finished tonight. Then I can work on the levers.

Looks like you are getting closer Dan. It is alot of fun to install remotes on a tractor. If you have any other questions I can help with, let me know!

I made the mistake if taking the tractor down into woods today thinking I could work on some roads. Bad move. Stuck, muddy, unstuck, stuck sideways in a ditch, unstuck, try to get up out of the woods and back on top of the property and barely made it, tore the heck out of my yard spinning like mad trying make it up near the road.... It was a great day!

Picture is before all the chaos began. Once things went wrong, I never thought to take pictures.

I’m surprised she got stuck. But the. Again with all the weight maybe it just sinks. I figured with them larger rear tires it would be better.

You would have to know where I live to understand. If you went down there in a Hummer, it would be staying there a while. I know, because I've done it back when I had a Hummer

I live on a steep slope, that has steeper slopes. And it's awesome clay... Slimy gooey clay. My "flat" yard is 16°, and it only gets steeper from there.

Valve is installed. No leaks. Lines don稚 look out of place and tie inline from the 3rd function valve.
Thanks Ron for the tip on the PEX 1/2 tee for the return line.

Just need to make up the levers. But it痴 beer thirty and that can wait for another day.

Way better than the 1200$ kubota option. I told my
Dealer when I seen one installed on a b3350 that I would be embarrassed to sell that.

I have 340$ wrapped up in this. And that includes 6 male ends up the couplers with dust plugs for when I find some implements.

If you saved all of the part numbers and sources, you should do a bill of materials to help others who find this over the years. Do it with brand, part number, quantity and source for each part of your kit. That's the kind of thing that makes the internet awesome!
