All diesel in Oregon by state mandate is 5% BIODIESEL, many stations are selling the 20% BIODIESEL because they are not charging the 30 plus cents of state tax and are only charging the Federal Tax.

Uncle lives out on Oregon Coast and was having fuel problems before he got rid of the Dodge Cummins and was only buying fuel at Fred Meyer.

Wow, good to know. I had no idea. Would I be better off buying diesel fuel in Washington?

Have no Idea where they add it, if it is coming out of Portland or Vancouver it could already be in it. Look at the pump it should say what the bio diesel content percentage is.

Stopped using the metal drums and tank and just using 5 gallon jugs and never empty them all the way into the fuel tank, sometime you can see a little water in the bottom of the jug.

Put the Kubota B series plastic type water trap filters on everything, the BX, RTV and diesel lawn mower, the inline filters stop the water until overloaded and then the water just gets forced through, the filters with the metal end caps rust on my L3130.

Update, took the BX out yesterday to spread some gravel and after half an hour started running rough, got it back and up on the tilt trailer, shut it down and took the cowl off to check the water separator. Unscrewed housing and the end cap of the filter came off the filter and it picked up some of the water in the bottom of the bowl, still have the inline filter before the lift pump so never get any sediment that far by.

Had to run back home to get a replacement, so new procedure is to always carry spare fuel filters with tools for replacing, you never know when they will fail.
