RX7320 Fuel Sending Unit (Crud)

I have had fuel level issues with my 2022 Kioti RX7320. Tested the electrical to the sending unit and all was ok. Finally pulled the sending unit and found all kinds of crud on the sending unit. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Have always used fresh filtered fuel and the tractor is kept in shed when not in use. It is stuck to the bracket, but is not rust at least from the bracket.

What fuel additives are you using, if any? You might need to add a biocide at least…

I not had any problem with mine so far. Like mentioned above might us some Biocide once in awhile. I add in the winter if we don't get much snow and it sits.

Just remember that biocide kills the (microbes)bug….but doesn’t clean the fuel system. That’s the big part of the job. Draining/flushing the complete system and multiple filter changes. Best to prevent the problem in the first place
