Word is the company has been bought out of bankruptcy and has ambitious plans for product, but that also involves moving the operation to China. New product forecast for mid 2018.
However I heard that my local installer still had inventory. My guess is same shipment as those I have. I was able to negotiate and price for self install with a modest discount on the batteries. So just a 16% increase in capacity that I hope will be noticeable during periods of reduced sunshine.

Just had coffee and big country breakfast (including lean pork chops) with the family. It is cold here (cold for us). Trying not to run the heater yet.

My FIL had as many as 7 different calibers of Ruger #1 at one time. Not sure how many he has now.

First bike was Honda SL125 at age 15, but my older brothers had bikes. The first was a Sears made by Puch. Ron, I remember the Pentons sold on one side of the country and main brand sold elsewhere. My buddy just bought a Husky 701 Enduro brand new. Lots of technology and power.

Don, I haven't given up hope yet. My biggest worry are the coyotes. Come home whipper.

39F, overcast and wet @ 15:30. We're now just on the west side of the big band of rain. Overnight lows tonight will be near freezing.

Need to make the run to TSC here in a little bit for hydraulic fluid, bar and chain oil (on sale currently), and possibly bird seed.

Also have to pick up some K1 kerosene for the heater in the garage.

Ordered a Fiskars pickaroon, a 22" 120w LED light bar for the Kubota, and some "Premises under video surveillance" signs/stickers off Amazon. Should be here on Monday.

Hamstring muscles a little sore today, I guess from crouching down while I was bucking firewood the other day.

First bike was a Kawasaki 175 Enduro, then a Honda 450, after that a Kawasaki 1000 LTD, finally a Yamaha XS750SF Special.

Had the LTD up to 135 mph, was all I could do to hang on. Fortunately I was going a lot slower when I broadsided a car with it.

Rode the Yamaha all the way from the West Coast back to Ohio ... in February. Wish I still had it.

Even got a bit of mowing in.

Good evening all. 33F this morning, clear and light wind. Wind came up quickly but not like yesterday, High temp was 58F, sky clear all day. built a fire this morning, ran the furnace enough to warm the sleeping quarters. Went for bike ride, just 2 of us rode because of first cold morning, and we didn't leave until 11 to let the day warm up a bit. fire in stove tonight.
