LS XG3037
I picked up my new 2017 XG3037 Friday. Needless to say, I'm happy to be a tractor owner again. The last tractor that I owned was a rebuilt Ford 8N back in 1982. I have 4.5 acres in which a little under 2.5 is still thick wooded and a private road to help maintain.

I got the XG3037 with a loader and box blade. I really don't have a need for a cutter, yet. Thought about getting a landscape rake or a Rachet Rake to aid in thinning out the woods?

The first mod was a spinner knob. I know, i know. I read the thread where this was a subject of "for & against civil unrest". As soon as I figure out the best spot, I'll be mounting an ammo can for a tool box. I discovered yesterday day that a DIY bottle holder is definitely something that I need to figure out, quick.

It's my first time with a FEL but I find it similar to operate as a forklift that I used to run. The shuttle shift is taking a little getting used to. I've already run a tank of fuel through the tractor an feel like it's going to fit my property needs well.

I had been lurking through this forum as I researched and made up my mind about buying a new tractor. I want to say thank you to all of you that have so freely shared your advice, creativity and words of wisdom. People do read and take into consideration all things said here.

Welcome to TBN and congrats on the new tractor. A spinner knob is a great accessory. Some grab hooks welded on the bucket is another great idea. I had an ammo box on the back but it was in the way of my remotes so I made a bracket and moved it to the left loader arm.

Here is an old thread on tool box mounting options. Post 8 shows my tool box on my R3039H

Congrats on the new tractor! I have the same model and really love it (and the spinner knob I installed). Enjoy!

You'll be amazed at how much you can do with it.

I've almost 700 hrs on mine now and she still gives me a grin when I finish the days' work in an A/C'd cab.

Keep up your maintenance and it'll reward you with service.

Enjoy it but don't be afraid to get it dirty or even a spot of grease here and there around the hinge points.
