Don't know what to say. Prayers sent. Ed

Prayers sent here too. AR-15 with large magazines;we aren't going to hear the end of this for awhile.
Some of us remember Watts, Detroit, Baltimore, etc all too well. Some very angry people out there.
Not trying to be political, just reminds me to limit my exposure to crowds.
And for sure why I want to live in farmland.

75 this morning high of 95 later today. Big storms rolled thru last night about 11:15 with frequent lightening and very loud thunder. Still cloudy this morning but the heat is still on.

Terrible news about what is happening in Dallas

The sad thing is they just made it much worse for people being stopped. the Officer will be more on edge and lives will likely be lost because of this. My guess the protest was just an excuse not a reason for the shooters. They were just looking for an opening. Ed

79 this morning and headed to 89 today. 50% chance of thunderstorms. .6 inches of rain yesterday. Some wind damage around. My sweet corn was just starting to tassel, now it's flat. We'll see if it stands back up. 5.1 inches for the month so far. Normal is 2.5-3. The river is above flood stage. July rises are not good for those that farm along its banks.

Probably going to be working on the bathroom today. As its too wet to do much of anything else.

Sad news coming out of Dallas. Ed's right those actions won't solve anything. It'll just make it worse. Trust has dropped.

Hot and humid already, going out to spray the clam shell driveway, and mow the grass before it gets hotter.

No justification for the Dallas police shootings, none, zero! Thugs will be thugs, ban thugs not guns.

GUILTY!!!!

I've been eyeing the payoff date for my Kioti and thinking what to buy next... LOL!

My wife Tory has been doing an awesome job (and enjoying it) using the LX266 riding mower so I TRIED to convince her to upgrade to a zero turn...

Last Sunday I repaired the tie rod and installed new blades on the LX266...

So....

I'm gonna keep trying, and do more dishes!!!!

LOL

This "president" has set back race relations in our country more in the last 8 years than all the progress that had been made in the last 100!!!

Wish America would quit feeling sorry for those who resist arrest and are carrier criminals. Wish media could get it right, Florida, Baltimore, Ferguson, they get it wrong every-time. Media and President to blame. Premise for protests not true. HS

Let us know how that works out.

Sitting in costco tire shop waiting for a couple to be installed. 3 of my tpms senders are not working, $60 each. With 313k miles I've been ignoring the light, but told them to replace them.

Sad for the dallas police, all i will say.

MFW, Hello, drop by again when you get time.

Thanks Ron!

Nice to hear from you, I hope you and all your ladies are doing well.
How's the job going?

Drew,

My ladies are awesome. We spent the 4th at a local large gated community all day with massive brunch party, community parade, all day in the lake at their beach, and fireworks. My 7 year old literally swam from 11 am to 8 pm and had an awesome day...

Work is good, there are issues everywhere. Something good is happening I'm getting many contacts from recruiters looking for Federal Sales & Biz Dev guys, so God only knows what will happen...

Be well all & Stay safe!

David

PS - Dallas is just a symptom. The problem is our entire Nation culture is sick and infected with some terrible ideas that unfortunately are finding fertile ground... My heart breaks for the victims families... Randy is right, it is the Thug culture, not the 2nd Amendment which is killing people... Like in Chicago...

Sad, Sad, Sad day...

God Bless America, please...

Good Morning! 64 @ 8:00AM. Partly cloudy. High near 90F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph.

Buckeye, I hope your Dad will be able to stay in his place as long as he likes. Too many changes too quickly are not good for anyone.

Glad you're still with us, Larro. I think I'd a been a crawlin' back to the house, and would'a been needin' to change my shorts when I got there.

Good to hear you're recovering well, Ron. Keep enjoying those walks, and find a neighbor kid to cut that grass. You might also enjoy that, and keep him on!

The tragic news out of Dallas is a reminder that the veneer of civilization is very thin. The problems are deep rooted, complex, and won't be solved by BandAid legislation or clever sound bites on the campaign trail.

Got about 35 gallons of 4% glyphosate put out on the upper meadow yesterday before I ran out of concentrate. So that's on the agenda again today.

Ran errands in town, ophthalmologist said eye is OK and that the dryness and tearing I'm seeing is normal for Bell's. Next appointment is in a year, so things are going as well as can be expected.

Spent six freakin' hours at the mechanic's place last night, trying to get enough time to plan out the machining on the heads and go through our build list to make sure nothing's been missed. It was a string of constant interruptions from the fellas working for him, customers on the phone, vendors and delivery people; it's no wonder he never gets anything done. He needs an office manager to take care of that stuff. Then just as we were getting down to brass tacks, a guy that he's trying to get set up to do CNC machining stops by, and they spend the next three hours BSing about their cars and such. While I just wander around his shop and storage buildings, pet the dogs, and kill time. Very unprofessional, but what are you gonna do? And I still had grocery shopping to do, and didn't get home until just before midnight. Ugh!

TGIF gang!

Was mowing the back field, but quit because it was so sunny and hot, and no air moving. 90°. Made some lemonaid, and peanut butter sandwich, just noticed it was overcast all of a sudden. Now getting a few raindrops.

I sprayed my driveway, mowed the grass, ztr works up a sweat in 101° heat index, dead headed and watered flowers, checked the 4 year old apple tree, 6 apples, small and deformed, but hey, apples is apples!

Did finish mowing the field, had more rain later.

My sweet corn was laid flat for three days in a row from thunderstorms. The sun pulled it back up ever time.

Good Evening. 1900, mostly cloudy, 92F {HI of 98F} with 48% humidity. Today's forecast high was 101F but we only got up to 98F {so a cool day, right?}, and a low of 75F tonight.

After me posting there was no chance or rain yesterday, this greeted me when I left for work. {only got a tenth of an inch, but every little bit helps}

Mamma was having a Nitro day today, so I spent a good part of the morning at her house. This being Friday, I came into work at 1300, so didn't get a lot done in the garden. My melons are getting too ripe, so I'm eating 3 or 4 {the hearts of them anyway} everyday in the garden.

Whipper got her bandage changed by the Vet today and her wound is looking good. I do miss her patrolling the yard, I almost stepped on a copperhead this evening and yesterday got stung in the face by a wasp, however I don't think her patrolling abilities extend to wasp.
