TBN Performance Issues

All of the page images posted to date include ads. I am running Firefox with AdBlock Plus and don't have any problems.

I think the key here is those of us running adblock plus aren't having a problem with formating and those still looking at ads are.

I'm having the same thing. When I try to scroll down, it's likely to just jump to the end of the page.

Works fine for me. Chrome windows 7 and ad blocker+

Control+F5 may fix it. That forces a full reload of the page and may fix any sticking partially loaded files.

Tried it......same problem. Jumps all over.....loading is very slow. As I said......problem only here on TBN.....other forums are fine. I don't run ad blocker.....other forums don't require it???? Seems it's a TBN issue......others are seeing the same thing. Hopefully Muhammad can do something.

Same here. Open thread, may or may not jump to bottom. When I go back to new thread, it usually jumps to bottom of page and have to scroll up. I am using windows 10 and edge.

Running Apple with Safari and AdBlock - no problems here either. Also works fine when I use Firefox with AdBlock.

No one "requires" Ad blocker. Ad blocker is something you put on your browser when you are tired of looking at ad's Think of it as "ad be gone"

I knew that.....just don't use it. Looks like others are experiencing similar problems. You should not have to have ad blocker to view the site.....in fact.....I bet several of TBN's sponsors prefer people don't use ad blocker.

I was thinking the same thing. I kind of doubt that the administration here would want to be caught recommending ad blocker to the members of the site. Maybe if we all threaten to install it..........?

I am having the same problems by the way, have been for months, and have brought it up a couple times. Seems to be a back burner issue.

I installed Adblock Plus for free. It seems to have fixed the issue. Too bad as I did not mind what few adds I saw.

I have no add blocker and no problems, so it's not on Muhammad's end. I just get one small add on the side and one small one on top. It does not interfere.

Where on the page are you being jumped to? Which threads? All threads? All pages?

The page just jumps up and down so I have to keep scrolling up and down for several times on each page till it settles down. This problem just started a couple of days ago for me. I thought it may be something like an ad trying to direct me to view it, but sometimes there isn't any ad there. The screen just jumps from bottom to top or vice versa, very aggravating. I don't run ad blocker and shouldn't have to in order to keep the screen from running up and down several times on each page. I never know where it is going to be when loading, top or bottom. I can handle the slow loading better than the hopping up and down and having to scroll up and or down several times on each page.
I think it is definitely a TBN problem likely something that an advertiser has put in to make you see his ad.

Not the same for me. I broke down and installed Adblocker yesterday. Before I did I had constant problems with page loading, after loading Adblocker.....no problems at all.

I agree......it is a TBN issue......this does not happen on other forums.
