Was using my CK30 around the house, get back on the tractor one time, pushed the Gas Lever and nothing. Obviously is disconnected from the feed wire. I was able to use the foot pedal. Did some observation and found where the lever wire and foot pedal wire meet. Pushed foot pedal to see which one was lever. Follow it back up, it is a green covered wire heading into the dash.

But now to fix it. I see the possibility of removed a part of the dash, with four ??screws?? at the yellow circles. Some were filled with dirt dauber gunk, and I cannot see into them to determine what is needed to remove. Anyone have some experience or suggestions with this? Thanks in advance

I haven't had to take my dash apart, so can't help you there. But curious so I will be following this thread.

I've never heard of that lever malfunctioning.

Those four bolts do indeed take the front panel off the dash. I have done that, though I was working on the other side for electricity. The throttle cable is the green one, same on my tractor. You may need to pull the rest of the dash, but those bolt are hidden away, don't remember where. The front panel is a good start there.

The gas lever is called the throttle, confused me when I saw the title as I thought you meant the fuel cut-off valve on the sediment bowl.

Thanks. I guess is would be tough for a diesel tractor to have a "gas lever". Sorry about the multiple posts above. TBN was giving me fits yesterday.

Took a little bit of maneuvering but four 10mm bolts got the middle section out, and eight more released the major portion of the dash so I could see the throttle connection. Green wire was broken, and looks like repair is out of the question.

What is best method to obtain a new throttle wire?

Local dealer or Michigan Iron has a pretty good web site that you can order from.

It's under Chassis, Accelerator Group, part 7. Throttle cable. Not sure what's up with the multiple parts and prices.

Yeah I saw that too, but only on Michigan Irons site, I found this part number on other sites T2350-60021,but it does not match MI site so I do not know...

I did order, the one that had the flag indicating it was the newest one for this model tractor. What's up with the shipping charges? More than the cable itself. I could have visited a Kioti dealer and ordered, but that would be two trips and a wait, so shipping charge worth the money if I can get the part here soon.

Thanks for the help!

Yea the shipping prices are quite hi if your only buying a small part. With Michigan Iron for me the shipping is around $22 with a $5 part or a $500 part so I try to do multiple buys at once sometimes just get extra filters to make me feel better.

That's a good idea.

Ok. I did order the part, got it and installed yesterday. I may now know "what's up with the multiple parts". Not sure which one is the correct fit for my tractor but the one I ordered was not. It attached perfectly to the lever end, but the other end did not fit nicely into the grooved slot, so that the two nuts could be tightened on each side.

Instead, I had to use some wire to tightly attached the cable to the holder. It is working fine but, as they say, "held together with wire and baling twine", less the bailing twine.
