You are welcome. I sort of hope it might help someone who needs a cup holder. I use a mug that has a top on it and slide the little tab back to drink, then slide back to close and keep the dust/tree stuff out of the drink...lol

Dust and twigs are nothing compared to an errant hornet!

I use one of these that I got from Cabelas. With the Velcro strap I can mount it on my ROPS. Only downside is soda gets pretty shook up.

I use a tomato puree can and a flat U-bolt.

Also works as a flashlight/headlight holder.

When I was working with the auto industry the Germans were always amused by the American obsession with cup holders in cars. Their view was that when you're driving you should be paying attention to driving, if you want to eat or drink pull over to do that. Of course they're blasting down the autobahn doing about a hundred and fifty.

I have been to Italy and was told the same thing. They never use the cup holder while driving. The odd thing though is there is a bar at each rest stop and it is very common to see people pull over to have a beer.

Currently I'm using an old tobacco can with holes for drainage drilled in the bottom. It sits on the fender and is tie wired to the ROPS & fender grab rail. I replace it every few years with another found item. Free & it stays put.

Yes but they have better drivers too. When I worked in Germany I had a car with GPS. If I went over a speed limit it would tell me "obey the traffic rules" in a stern female voice. lol.

Course you don't see the skid marks and barrier rubs like we do here in the US.

You can get cup holders as an option in Germany.

As to tractor cup holders look at some of the marine style holders. Will hold up to the bouncing and weather. Most bolt on and self level.
