Well we ended up with just about a foot of heavy wet snow. I decided to wait until this morning to cleanup...good decision as the overnight temps dropped into the teens and dried the snow out somewhat.
By the looks of this storm arriving early evening into late morning Tuesday, most of the northeast will be shoveling blowing or plowing ...this will be 5th plowable storm since early 12/15 can't really complain.
Finally getting the driveway dried up from the muddy mess it has turned into in the afternoons. Decided to use the new box blade to peel back a few inches of the really wet stuff and it's working well. The 30-50 mph winds all day yesterday and today are helping as well!
We got around 5 inches. Enough to test out the new chains. They work well. I would like to get a set for the front but it's tight clearance between the sidewall and steering ball joints on the front tires. I'm afraid the chains might catch on them.
