Looks like a good deal, Eric. Do you plan to modify it to use with your quickhitch, or just remove the QH as necessary?

I don't think I'll have time to fiddle with making it quick hitch compatible before it gets too cold, and so my plan for now is to drop my quick hitch and mount the blower as is.

$900 for a functioning snowblower is a great deal. If you can fix the Kioti then the snowblower should be easy.

I'm happy that it has hydraulic shoot rotation, but wondering why it doesn't have a hydro on the deflector like the blower in the photo below.

If the gearbox goes out, it looks a lot like the one on our Loftness. That has a straight through shaft for the impeller and a 90 degree shaft for the cross auger. They are still in business, so it may still be available.

Pretty simple project to add if you have enough remotes.

I thought you were moving snow on your lake land. The deflector would be necessary in the suburbs but not so much in rural areas.

He doesn't have the remotes, not unless he unhooks either hydro top or side link. However, I do agree that it doesn't seem much of a project. Eric has fixed much bigger things before.

He doesn't need the side link while snowblowing so that is the remote I'd use.

If I'm remembering correctly, Eric installed three sets of remotes, didn't he? (Eric, we'll sort this out for you amongst ourselves, no worries!)

Yeah, and if you don't have enough remotes we'll design a simple manual Y valve for you so you can switch from one implement to the other. We got this!

Yeah, and if you don't have enough remotes we'll design a simple manual Y valve for you so you can switch from one implement to the other. We got this!

You can make all the remotes you want with these stackable electric/hydraulic valves. You use your OEM SCV for control.

you can stack 3 of these in a stack, making 4 sets of remotes including the pass thru when no valve is selected electrically all fed and controlled from one of your stock OEM remotes. So if he had room on the back he could have 12 remote sets with the 3 stock remotes as the feeds. There now.. that ought to satisfy the most remote hungry guy on the planet.
