I know I've used Syncrowaves in the past. But I don't think Ive ever seen one that big before!

Did you use backing gas when you tig welded the tank? What filler rod? Very eye pleasing!

Yeah, us hobbyist need all the practice we can get.

Did you use backing gas when you tig welded the tank? What filler rod? Very eye pleasing!

No backing gas, if it was stainless steel I would have purge the tank.
I used 1/16-inch E80S filler. I welded the outside first, of the bottom, sides, and ends. Then welded the inside. I just welded the outside of the top. I really lucked out, not one leak!

Mysfyt, at this point I don't know. I can phone Miller Support with the serial number to see if it was installed at the factory. If not I'll have to take a look inside and compare with a parts diagram to see if it was installed later.
