Yep like it... I have always two wire cutters, three tape measures, and two soap pencils laying around because they get lost in front of my face!

that's what they invented aprons for .... (and shirt pockets , and ears )

as for the wrench , a big elastic round the power cord, about 2/3 towards the plug ... or a key clip lanyard to it and clip to a belt loop ...

Yeah but I just don't look good in my wife's apron and I haven't pulled the trigger on a man's apron. Soon I will see the light though.

I have a dedicated drawer for grinder suff... cutoff discs, grinding wheels, flap discs... whatever, so if I change from one to the other I will put the nut back in the drawer. The wrench stays in there too. The only thing is that the cup brush doesn't fit so that goes on a shelf.

I also rarely use the wrench.

I also use dedicated drawers for organization of my tools. I also like having the handle on my grinders.

I do the same and have even gone so far as to label the drawers to help me stay organized. Called 5s'ing I guess if you are into the Japanese methodology. But I don't put my tools back in the drawers while I am working... that happens at the end of the day/job!

LOL, tried that (drawer) but somehow things still accumulate on the work bench(s) and on my table saw.

Have 2 of a lot of tools so that does not help either. (call me a tool freak)
2 grinders are a must! one setup for cut off, other for wire brush or discs.

Just can't pass up bargains, gen set @ $50? compressor @$50 or gas powered water transfer pump for $25 (c/w hose and fittings).
My big problem is I weld, do most mechanics, and enjoy woodworking as well. And need a bigger shop!

That's how i have it too. I change the disc or what ever and drop the wrench and or nut back in the drawer. Or if out in the field, drop everything back in the job box, except when i drop it on the ground. Then i spend a while trying to find it.

Yep. My blades and wheels all get changed at the workbench and get stored in the cabinet under it, so I never have to look for them.

Agreed. I have come too close to "eating" the wire wheel several times even with a side handle on it to not use one. Also, even if I am not using it, a side handle gives me a safe place to grab the grinder if it comes loose when working one handed.
