Well, we just don't know, we haven't heard from him. No pictures of a nice 8x8 pole in a hole. We just don't know.

Agreed. I noticed the same thing. Must have been a rookie running a rental.

Try chaining the pole to the bucket with the opening of the bucket pointed down and resting on the pole with 5 foot sticking back towards the tractor, raise slowly and rotate bucket back and set in hole. Be careful. Chain tightly.

Have good ballast on the rear.

Good idea k0ua. Im going to try that next time I have to set a long pole or post.

I got a guy that puts up pole barns for a living come out with his Truck that drills/auger out the hole for power pole worked great.through in cement and dirt ,mot going no where.
