Good morning!!!!

Hope everyone survived the bad weather, we didn't get anything severe at all here. Mid 70's and humid today, just the way I like it! Starting a new job today, after 37 years of running my business and 3 months of retirement, I decided retirement is not for me! My best friend owns a car dealership and wants me to come to work in the office, collecting payments, writing service tickets one day a week, altogether about 4 days a week. I'm ready!

Repo Man!!! :)

Remember, the life of a repo man is.....INTENSE. (had to have seen the movie to get it.)

and Toppop would be good at it, since he would only go for those cars with at least 500hp.
and assuming it's a big three, either a Vette, a Viper or a Shelby GT1200 as a company car.
Toppop, you are going to have fun.

Your windshield wipers squeak and don't work well Ma'am? Well we can sure fix them for you.
Now that's a sporty car you drive Ma'am.
Would you be interested in today's special, a new V12 biturbo engine?
No? Just the wipers. You bet. Did I mention your husband will never say no to you again if you
come home with that engine?
Yes ma'am. We can have it in by 5pm.

Lol, it's not all that glamorous! But I'm enjoying it. I've spent two days as the defacto service manage, took me a few minutes yesterday to get the hang of the software, but I'm going good now, I know all the guys there, one for forty years, so we all get along well.

Busy day today

Good trip to Dr office, weighed in 3 pounds less than last visit, good lab reports so officially off the statins. All labs good. Lower right side pain determined to be back related, not hip so renewed my ibuprofen script because it's effective. Wife had equally good visit. Kinda strange that being healthy they want another followup in 3 months :(

Lunch at Chinese buffet in Waimea. We only get there on Dr visits or Coscto trips.

Rock neighbor finished up rebuilding our driveway, 127.9 tons to replace what has washed away, guess it should get a pic. The last 5 years, I've been able to rake and redistribute, but this year it's just gone. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep this serviceable myself for awhile. Am going to bite the budget bullet and have his Dad do a concrete water diversion at the worst area.

Picked up remainder of roofing metal for my tractor shed. Wx permitting, that install will be my main focus tomorrow. 10 sheets, but 1 has to be slip lengthwise and another notched to mate with existing roof.

Quick, but pricey stop at Safeway to replenish fruits and veggies for scrumptious salad makings

Picked up prescriptions at WallyWorld and got the dogs a 20 piece McNuggets, they got 18 and I stole 2 :)

Roof metal still on truck, waiting to be off loaded with my forks tomorrow.

A great day

My Nurse Practitioner moved to a new office in Marianna about a year ago. She told me to call and get an appointment for a six months checkup. So far I haven't called. I would like for her to see the slimmer me, just not enough to go for a doctor's visit.

I would agree, except you probably show get updated blood tests etc given your weightloss and dietary changes, that was my primary motivation for the initial appointment. Unfortunately, it seems they have also changed the rules. Was chastised for waiting so long between appointments. Apparently, under the new rules, one has to been a frequent visitor, not something's I'm fond of and likely will resist. My feeling is to visit when a problem, get a checkup annually (or so), don't needlessly clog the system. 20 years in the military and my health records were thinner than many single enlistment..

Getting your current stats would be beneficial.

38 right now and a high of 63...another nice day!

I brought some paperwork home with me...but I think that will wait until Sunday. Today, it's haircut day and a few other odds and ends.
I did drop the loader off the tractor last week and I want to rig the RFM and see if I'll need to add suitcase weights. This will be a good day for that....still be a few weeks until the grass will need cutting though

temp is at 42 degrees right now and heading up into the 60痴 today
We are working on the barn siding this weekend so hope to get most of that done.
Time will tell. If I would of been thinking I would have built it hight enough to hold our motorhome LOL
Wife and I went to Virginia last week and picked it up. It is a 2005 Safari Trek 28 foot. Really do not have a plan for
using it this summer, but will do some traveling next winter we think.

Nice Motorhome Wayne, We have had a lot of travel trailers and motorhomes through the years. In my opinion you can't beat a motorhome for seeing the country. Treks are a good value.

It is 67 this morning in Lecanto and raining pretty steady. Suppose to be thunderstorms all day long. People south of us (Tampa) have been getting too much rain. Right now my cows can't keep up with the grass, which is pretty unusual this early in the year. I am going to have to start mowing or get another cow or two.
