LOL!! That made me laugh.
But I can identify with him. I came here without a tractor. A few months later I bought one. Within a month I had two of them.
This forum is hard on my bank account.

I am also a victim. It took just a few months wasted here and now my "lawn mower" is worth more than my daily drivers. Its so bad that I'm actually considering buying a "rake" that costs twice as much as my first car.
There's got to be a 12 step program for this. . .

My next door neighbor, just moved in, is a local police officer. Can't burn small pile of leaves anymore. I have an outdoor fireplace(basically a $100 decorative metal something or another) that uses leaves for fuel now
. He's actually a pretty cool guy. The house next to him is the one i needed access from. It has been vacant for 3 years. Tried to buy it for rent house but owners don't want to sell. I think they don't need the money plus they don't want to fool with cleaning it up. If you've seen the show 'Hoarders' you know what i mean. Just so happens that the daughter(50 something years old) and new husband came over to mow for the annual "cleanup" that consists of running a riding lawnmower over 2' high grass and 2" thick sticks. This is probably a 1/3 acre lot and took 8 hours to mow and trim some hedges. So long story short. My wife and i walked over to ask about tractor access. Now, this lady has been, let me say, as my wife refers to her, a "prickly pear". Yeah, i don't know where the **** she got that saying from. i don't use it and it's feminine sounding, but...i'm trying to tone it down.
Anyway, to get to the point, i asked if i could use the driveway and backyard for access. She said sure. So I had permission just because they were feeling generous. So i got in the mood and offered to clean up their brush :mur:
You could tell her husband was very ******* happy. He said "knock yourself out young man".
Overall, it went well...

When you get them the sliding rail type are good, Besides pallets I use them for picking up stumps and brush piles too.
