My unlce had an old military surplus Winco generator for his cabin.

He built a small "Concrete" bunker into the hill which eliminated any noise reaching the cabin...

Used the set up for about 30 years till the county ran power to the area.

Yup. I've seen that type of bunker before. It would be the ultimate shelter for sure.

Paul... Great video on the exhaust, camera and wiring! Excellent information.

Its funny you mentioned zip ties not cut smooth. I started a post in Kubota buying forum about new Kubotas having zip ties sticking out. It would be awesome to get your comments on there.

Cool. I have a few NOS Command starters here and I was going to adapt one of those to the generator but I've got so much to do these days I took the lazy way out

You may have talked about it already but give me some info on your Mustang. I'm into cars also. It looks like it has a few mods.

Dave the Mustang was for our 30th anniversary. It was a special order that took 3 months to get. It's a 2012 GT with the 5.0 Coyote engine. It is fully loaded and a cloth rag top, premium model with full NAV and electronics package. It's got 19" wheels. RTR body panels, Speed Of Sound pods and it seems to go on and on. The wife is a little freighted of it and won't use it so it don't get much use unfortunately. It's a fair weather car. When we do get out in it we enjoy it.

Well here's a mini mod and a completely useless one but I like e cool factor. Had to machine the bushing for it but I got it to fit. The last photo is of the new Stihl muffs. Wifey bought them for me. AM/FM MP3. Really nice. :dance1:

The Mustangs from 2010-13 are having a lot of trouble with their stick shifts whereas the autos are bullet proof. There's not a stick shift that will out perform these autos. Over 80% of all Porsche's are now automatics. They are considering dropping standard transmissions all together.

No more Sox and Martin Shifting. Agree on the Auto's. They came a long way from a C-6

Auto trannies have come a long way, but to be in a sports car, and not shift, just doesn't seem right. I had a standard in my 'Stang, with a really nice performing 302. Could leave almost anyone on the straightaway, but also got great fuel milage. I wish that I still had that car! I'd drive it to Newfoundland!

Thanks. It's there for a conversation piece. Might not stay there. We'll see. That frighten BX gets loud after a few hours plus if I play AC/DC I get my work done fast. Really fast :laughing:

Oh these machines have changed sooooo much. By the time you got to second I'd be out of sight :cool2:
I could have had a new Shelby for less money but didn't want the stick. Even Carroll Shelby had auto's :shocked:

Hey murph, you knocking my old 68GT 302 4bbl fastback with a C-6? I put a shift kit in that and it could throw your head back. Lowered with cut springs from a Ford truck and KYB gas shocks. Fab'd a cross brace to mount across the shock towers to stiffen the front end. 4pt roll bar... Okay, sorry, reliving my coming of age days (18yr old doing mods some 35 years ago.

You boys are raising my pulse rate, talking fast cars! I ran the hot 302, and also a well rigged 390. I am a Ford girl, but the 454s could run like a scalded cat. Too bad the carburetor floats sank every 10K miles! :laughing:
