We drove up to WinStar casino yesterday afternoon for a little entertainment. I started out losing and my luck changed. My wife started out winning, and then her luck changed. She was about $80 ahead early and didn't want to stop because we hadn't been there very long. I lost almost $60 in the beginning and then came back. At one point I was up by about $150, but it was an hour until dinnertime and we kept playing. In the end, I won enough to cover my wife's losses and pay for our dinner and gas for the car. The Fireside Buffet in WinStar has changed and their selections are not all that great while the price is high at $18.95. We each had $2 discounts. If I had it to do again, I would have come back across the Red River to Gainesville and eaten at Cracker Barrel or Applebee's. Right at Exit 1 in OK, they have a fireworks stand already up for the 4th of July. It was fun to get away from the house, yard, and garden for a few hours.
