LOLOLOL I think we are all wanting 3 straight days of rain, without hail or tornadoes. Can anyone remember the last time we had 3 solid days of steady rain around here? Been a really long time, in this county.
And jinman, that really is too much info for this thread! :laughing:

Yeah, we may get lucky and get some rain out of this by the am. So far it sounds like high winds and hail are the worst these will have (cross your fingers!) The one North of Abilene looks like a real run-off producer!

It may or may not rain, but that humidity is terrible this morning. I worked up a sweat without working; just walking, and slowly at that.:laughing:

Bird, you "aint" kidding!!, I guess its a good thing to help hold what little moisture we have in the ground, but other than that, I cant stand it either.
4-5 years ago we took the kids to Padre Island, for 4 days, it was stifling (sp)!! Even the kids didn't like the humidity enough to spend over an hour outside:confused3: I will never go back! And my how the "demographics " of the populace have changed since my last times at PI!!
When I was in high school and then a few toga parties there as a freshman in college (Spring breaks), I dont/cant remember it being near that humid (could have been the alcohol:laughing

Jim, N Texans survive on hopes and Dreams!! and some of us like Blue Bell Peaches and Cream:laughing: 30% chance is slim, that means it's a 70% we use the water hose!..
BTW, Got mole #2 !!! I sure like the Victor out-O-sight trap, better then any others I have used. Lowes and Home Depot list them on their sites, but no go at the stores?? found them cheapest at Northern tool of all places.
Sure wish I had a bunch of therm 3 pound coffee cans up here. They are calling for a killing frost for the next 2 nights, and our garden is all in and up.

I always enjoyed Port Aransas, but I've never been there, nor intend to be there, except in November - February like the snowbirds.
