Almost there.
I almost forgot to post my pics tonight.
I did not have enought time to get it primed but all the expanded metal is welded in. I cut everypeice to fit between the tines.
The only problem that EA is going to have is other people ordering a unit from them will want expanded metal installed on their unit as well.

It's nice to see a craftsman at work, Roger. Good stuff, man.

You don't think EA will have any issues with your modification?
Yeah, they're gonna sue him right off the bat...

That is what I was thinking.Nice, now its a wickeder grapple!
Removable expanded metal for the bottom times would make the wicked root grapple a wicked soil sifter. Double duty.
You are doing an amazing job.
surprised EA hasn't chimed in at all during this, have they contacted you about your progress? I wonder if they are still bitter because you didn't want a boxblade and they don't really care about this build.
Why did you cut the exapanded into individual pieces? Would be far faster, and sturdier, IMHO, to leave it one piece and weld where it crosses tines or edges. I'm sure your way is just fine, just seems like more work for no reason to me - was there a reason?
Oh man, getting close now! Looking good!

I see one MAJOR PROBLEM! That NEW Grapple Paint makes the tractor look a bit dingy so I think you need a few more quarts of that Kub OrangeYa still got a few weeks prior to official Spring Melt means you will be using her more in the mud.. Better get busy!
