My tractor shut off and will not even turn over now. I believe it is a safety switch on the PTO lever. I have lots of power as the starter turns the tractor over if it is shorted across but the fuel pump must also be dead as it still will not start. I located the two switches over the rear diff that are on the end of the PTO lever and PTO position lever. I unplugged them and jumpered them across but it is still dead. I also jumpered the throttle pedal switch to no effect. Perhaps I need to jumper them all at the same time. We are trying to finish post pounding and the tractor is dead. Any ideas.

I only thing I could suggest is try starting the tractor with the drive shifter in neutral. Hope it helps.

I figured it out in the day light, it was a fuse. I pulled all the fuses and checked them early on but I guess I missed the culprit. It turns out that the switch under the seat will kill the tractor if the PTO is on and the switch opens. There is a second and third switch on the differential that open when he PTO is on but it will not kill the tractor. It will not allow he tractor to start in the open (PTO on position).
My B3030 has 560 hours on it and this is the first time it would not start. It is an amazing tractor and has been a real work horse. I currently have a few cracks in the lower diff where the 3 pt. Hitch bolts into the cast aluminum. Some bolts came loose and the drag of the rear blade broke out the bolt casting. This will be a $2500.00 fix when I can afford it.
