Kubota Seat Safety Switch

/ Kubota Seat Safety Switch #41
So to simplify life,, you want the ability to end life, by running yourself over? Or worse yet, someone else? It does work. I’ve seen it done.
The answer is yes, I'm experienced enough to operate a tractor safely without a built in seat safety. Same is true for my car, my truck, my van. All of them have no seat safety and all have the same damage potential. I do not rely on built a in safety to be safe.
I know it's not for everybody but I am responsible for my own actions and my tractor better suits my use and operation without this safety.
The same holds true for a firearm without a safety. I am a safe and responsible operator.

I'm not sure what reason you have for bypassing the switch. If it's for off tractor use, like a generator or chipper, many Kubota's let you fold the seat forward which automatically bypasses the switch. Not sure about the L4060 though.

I have an air ride seat on my L6060 which does not have this feature. I installed a mechanical twist timer to bypass the switch. That way, I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn it on again. It comes in handy when I want to stand on the deck to see the fork tips or line up an SSQA implement.
My 2301 does that. You have about 3-5 seconds to flip the seat over as you dismount.
