The DK50 finially will be here on Saturday! The 50's seem to be in demand had to wait for it to come across the pond. Big thanks to Bob at M.I.E. So far he has gone out of his way for me and I have not even got the tractor. Saved me a bunch of $$$ also. CJ

I am anxious to get it also, but it really makes me wonder with all the posts about what you can't do with these FEL's and tractors. CJ

I don't recommend pulling/dragging heavy loads in reverse using the loader. (Use the drawbar on the back of the tractor for pulling, thats what its there for.)
And don't use your loader as a battering ram.
Other than that just use the loader, it will be fine.

Almost forgot.
Use proper ballast of the rear of the tractor for loader work.
Helps keep the rear tires on the ground so the front axle isn't doing all the work and makes the tractor much more stable when lifting heavy loads.

Put 5 hours on it this week end, still too much snow for the backfill work that I need to do. I have the rear tires loaded and it is about right for counter ballast. Remember counter ballast only stops the back end from coming up, you still have the same load on the front. With more ballast you can pick up more and you will put more load on the front axle. The loader will not pick the backend of the tractor up lifting but it will curling or in roll back. In my opinion that is about perfect. I am really, really glad I got the 50HP using the loader in midrange you have to be aware of what you are doing so you don't stall the tractor. I know it will get better when it breaks in but I am still glad I got the 50. So far I am happy with the unit. I am used to running heavy equipment so this tractor has alot to live up to, so far it is doing well. CJ
