Several variables, which include size, weight, running/not running, and what part of the country the tractor is in, and what part you are in, how big a pain in the rear the seller/buyer are...etc.

I agree with David.

How much does it typically cost to ship a tractor from point A to point B for a total distance of approximately 200 miles?
I got a nibble on uShip but they just asked how much I was willing to pay. Do they think I'm stupid?
Could be.
I'd low ball 'em and see what happens. Maybe that goofball rookie who's on the Shipping Wars TV show will put in a bid that you can live with.
Shipping may be a moot point because when I called about the tractor, I was told that someone was supposed to go look at it this evening. It was not advertised online so at least I know that anything I said here didn't potentially "give it away" and cause me to miss out. It does however remind me that loose lips sink ships so I will be absolutely silent the next time one comes along, especially if it is advertised online.
Anyway, I made a very strong offer over the phone, pending the condition of the tractor being as described, so only time will tell.
I don't think anyone could have sunk a ship from your "200 mile from anywhere" description, so it was probably just a local or somebody they knew going to look it over, unless it is advertised somewhere. Good luck with it, David from jax
Watch out for "scam's".
If it's to good to be true it most likely is.
Add , get a bill of sale and loaded on your transport prior to laying the cash on him.
Are you only here to hawk shiphawk?Check out this new site www.shiphawk.com. They give instant flatbed pricing. We ship a lot of our units with this calculator. None of the waiting like with uShip. I see this post is a few years old. Too bad fuel is gouging us so bad.
