WSM Manual

Ordered a WSM Manual from Messick's today for my 2920. :thumbsup:

They had two in stock, real nice lady on the phone (sorry, can't recall her name).

That should give me plenty of reading material! I ask a lot of basic questions on this site, so hopefully this will help educate me more, and also maybe I can start to answer some questions for a change. I always like reading manuals and learning. Looking forward to it.

I wish that I was smart enough to really understand most of what is in the WSM and or capable enough to actually do it. But it I have one also, and occasionally am able to look up something for a fellow TBN'er.:thumbsup:

Wow, I ordered it yesterday around 2:00pm and it arrived today! Crazy!

Wow, I am really going to like it, so far just browsing over all the pages. I think I will fall asleep reading this instead of the old C# & IOS/IPhone programming manuals.:laughing::laughing:

Hey Messick's thanks for the quick turn around. Between Barlow's and Messick's it has been a customer service filled few weeks. That is something you don't hear people say too often, except on these boards I guess.

Remember when reading the KTC WSMs that there are 2 sections (mechanism and service) with in each section (general, engine, transmission, etc.) The service section will not tell you very much except how to test a specific component. If you want to know "how it works" you have to read the mechanism section. They are written in a language called "Jinglish" due to translation issues, but normally they are readable with a little time and thought.

I bought both the Workshop Manual and the Illustrated Parts List when I bought my 1999 B2710. They go together very well.

Yup. We spend a fair amount of time on our logistics to make that stuff happen. You can buy parts from anyone, and we can only do so much with pricing, so we figure the best way to compete is service.

If you have questions with what you read, feel free to call. There are guys here to help with that.

Costs about 81.00 and then ten for shipping. It is in black and white though, no color pics. I still like it very much though.

Way back in Aug. 1999, I paid $88 for the WSM and $48 for the Parts List for the B2710.

So I got mine in the mail today and was surprised it was just a loose leaf manual..? there was no binder included did yours>>?

They are, we get lots of questions about that. The quality of the printing is somtimes not that great either.

At one point they sold a binder, but I'm not sure its even in the system anymore.

Another thread http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/230069-found-good-download-place-wsm.html currently on the first page now shows some available for download in PDF for $19. I was thinking printing it would cost another $20 for paper and ink but it can be stored on a thumb drive, disk or the computer and only print pages when needed.
I bought a service manual for a Honda Del Sol and I just print pages as needed and keep the entire manual stored on my computer and a copy on an external drive. Also have a stored info on a B7800 and on a Kubota mowing deck and haven't owned either in several years. Both of them were free downloads.
No, didn't do/find one on a BX1500!
