I recently bought a used mini-dozer. All of the placards are written in Chinese but nothing states a manufacturer name. It is a greenish-yellow and the data plate lists a model #KD4684. I have searched the Internet with no luck. Please help as I would like to get a manual and a parts supplier.

A picture could tell an awful lot.
What engine does it have, gas, diesel? How many cylinders? How many speeds in the transmission? Does it have a three-point hitch? Does it have a six-way blade? Does it have a ROPS?
The "KD" model number suggests it is a re-badged Guilin or Yuchai so it could be a NorTrac or any number of brands that are proprietary to the importing dealer. What does the data plate on the engine read?
There is a lot of support for the Chinese dozers on CTOA.

It has a 4 cyl diesel engine, 6 way blade, and 3 fwd 3 back gears. No PTO, no 3 point. I will take a picture tomorrow and then try to figure out how to post a picture
Thanks for the quick reply.

I have joined the CTOA but my membership is not "active" yet.

The "Chinese" might be confused with Japanese whereas it is possibly a Mitsubishi BD2G or a Komatsu D20/21 since it has a three speed powershift transmission. Could also be a Hitachi DX40.

I think the term "mini-dozer" was entirely subjective.

My guess is it's "Mitz" grey market with high flotation tracks.
If that's the case, there is good support in the Construction Equipment forum on this (TBN) website.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I seem to recall the previous owner mentioning that it had a lot of Komatsu parts so perhaps that is the most likely. Yes I agree, I could have easily mistaken the writing for Chinese when it is perhaps Japanese.
Whatever it is, it actually works quite well. :) It just seems to run at a very low temperature so I'm hoping to change the thermostat and run it at a warmer temp.

Ideally it should run in the 185° to 190° spectrum.

Here is a link to some valuable Komatsu D20/21 info, although I do not agree that they can be safely pulled on a 10,000 lb. GVW trailer with just any 'ol pickup like he suggests, and other statements, but for the most part it's good.

Note to Grizz: If you think Yuchai steering brakes are bad, take a look here.
