Nice set up. I like how you have tucked the frame under and behind to keep the plow closer.

I like the closeness to the loader arms as well. It does look like you will have to be careful and not roll it all the way forward or some issues could arise, I could be wrong of course. There is no real reason TO roll it forward however.

were your rear tires fluid filled??? there have been many people injured changing filled tires over the years.

Those turf tires aren't going to push much snow. Suggest you order tire chains now. When snow season starts it may takes several weeks to get them.

Hi magic, i can roll the blade fully both ways with no problem, lots of room. Yes GR the rears were loaded. Im glad the tires didn't go down as i don't think i would have been able to stand them up.

Nice job. I'm working on a similar build. I rebuilt everying from scratch except the blade. More time than it look like.

I have R4 tire myself but most people that have turf tire swear by them for winter plowing. I believe the idea is that the snow that gets in all the groves grips the snow on the ground better. Much like winter tires on a car have a bunch of small grooves.

Yep....I too have been told that most folks like their turf tires in snow.....and that turfs are somewhat better than R4's on snow. It's on ice where they have a problem....but then all tires have problems on ice.
