B2100 Hydraulic Problems??

Just bought a used B2100. All fluids and filters needed to be changed and were. The FEL did not function well when first run. All fluids and filters changed and now it seems worse. Doesn't respond properly to control movements, no down power (won't raise the front wheels off the ground), sometimes goes half way up smoothly then stops. I can see the hoses stiffen with pressure and now the engine bogs way down and/or won't rev up.

I have de/reattached quick connects a couple of times and don't believe there is air in the system. No vsisble leaks. Thanks for any advice!

Like Sgt Schultz, "I know nothing", but that won't stop me from commenting. From my thinking it would seem like something might be binding for the FEL, I am certainly not familiar with hydraulic systems but if the bucket itself seems to be in good shape I would look at the hydraulic pistons very closely. Also does the 3PT work OK, I am not familiar with that model but would assume it has a 3pt hitch. The fact that the engine strains and the hoses flex would seem to indicate that the hydraulic pump is doing its job. I am sure people that actually know what they are doing with these systems will chime in soon.

Thanks. Pistons seem in good shape as far as rust or corrosion. Engine slows when running the mid mower as well. 3 pt works ok. Thanks again.

Is there a chance the quick disconnect hoses are not in correct positions.
so fluid cannot drain back to reserve.
On my former L3600 where the hoses are going to QD there was a valve between 2 hoses a slot under floor board near filter that is horiz or vertical depending if FEL was installed or removed.
