31' Bridge across Creek

Bridge ended up costing $400, we'll see how long it holds up. Used a trailer bed 12'x20' with 2 lrg cresoted light poles under the tire prints & welded drill stem to hold together. Used 6x6 treated posts on ends and 2x12 treated lumber as runners.

Those pics are the day we constructed, it looks better now. I need to go back there and take some more. I chained the trailer to the poles under each corner in opposite directions and cabled the bridge to nearby trees, plus took up temp. runners and put 2x12 treated boards lag bolted down. Max. creek height will be about 3-4' above this bridge. I still have to get the fill dirt out from under with my pressure washer to ease restriction of water and better flow under it, otherwise I'm afraid it may try to flip.
