Very slow load time.

Using Firefox, the page load time is very slow, and does not match the time on the bottom of the page. This page took about 4 seconds. The readout at the bottom of the screen says waiting on TBN.

It's not just Firefox. IE has been pretty sluggish tonight too. Same thing. Instant response elsewhere. TBN's worth the wait though. The only frustrating part is when it times out when trying to post and you have to start over.

That is why I had a double post, I didn't think it was going to go through.

This post took about 5 sec to load.

That sounds about what I'm getting. Every now and then one sneaks in quick though.

Glad to hear it is not my computer. I was poking around trying to find out what was running in its back ground.
But now won't worry about it, at least for now.

The quickest and easiest thing I've found is to just google something and see if it takes as long as TBN. If not, then it's just TBN's server being bogged down.:thumbsup:

Yes having very slow problems Loading TBN .. actually it has taken me 8 minutes to get to here,

Had enough time to go make a K-cup of coffee grab a slice of cake, and it still not load all the way,
Last night I turn off my wireless DSL router and let it cool and reset, I also clean the dust from my computer,

but still slow tonight, but only here, think it has something to do with so many on at 1-time? It took close to 1 minute to submit this post..............

Could be. I am seeing ~13s loadtimes for the "Last 24 hours" page (TractorByNet.com - Search Results) and an additional 3-8s of loadtime for the ads (openx, googleadservices and gravity)
This is on a fast laptop behind a 7x2 cablemodem with actual speeds of 6.02Mbpsx1.73Mbps tonight.

it takes approx. 8 seconds to load after the Advertisement shows at header.

Also please let me know if a page starts loading and then hangs---i.e. the header and TBN logo show but nothing else for a while.

This is what is happening to me. The add will come up very fast if you click on it but the forum is taking forever to load. Sorry about the rant.

Ok, I made a change on the back end that might have been causing slow loading.

Very slow again tonight,

to 4 minutes to load and Hangs for another 3 minutes on front page header for Page generated in 0.40866 seconds with 8 queries

Tried a 2nd time and still no better and trying to navigate is impossible,
