Just a 4 footer to cover the tracks or can it pull a 5 foot disk?

With a tiller you at most might be two times across and you are done.
With a disc, while you will never get it to work as good as the tiller even on the tenth trip!!!!
I guess I was assuming we weren't talking about sod. Neither a disk nor a tiller is designed to break soil, though both will with enough time.
Could I talk you into a four foot tiller?

Well, you didn't try very hard, but I think I talked myself into a tiller. After talking with a few other people about disks and seeing the price of disks with decent adjustments, I started an automatic monthly transfer to my savings account for the purpose of funding a tiller this fall.
