It's 65F and all the snow is gone...But I'll post it anyway! If it looks familiar, I did post it on the "other" JD lawn tractor forum, too.
SW Missouri. No chains. Box blade for weight, but last year it worked great without it. I used it some in the snow when convenient because I would be backing into the opposite snow bank. This snow was heavy enough that I could see the benefits of a blower, but for as often as we get this kind of snow, it just wouldn't be worth it. What I did do was hook up a harness from my electric gear I use on my motorcycle and was nice and toasty without being all bulked up while playing on the Green Machine. It really is a hoot!
