Question about shelf life for gasoline

Get the real stuff. I would pay if it were legal in my area but as of Jan 1st 2010 all gas must have 10% ethanol in Indiana for on road use. Only place to get real gas is marinas and airports.

The Avgas is leaded 100 octane, that could cause problems too.

Pleasant discovery. The gasoline at the Sam's Club in MaconGA (pronounced Muh-CON-Ga) is actually non-ethanol. I filled my truck tank and a 55 gallon drum yesterday for $2.97.9 for regular unleaded. I checked a link on a local forum that lists stations where non-ethanol gas is available, and Sam's in Macon is on the list. I noticed that there is no mention of ethanol on the pumps, and the attendant assured me that is indeed the case.

Only issue is a little lead. The octane will not cause any issues. I live 20 minutes from town so I made a list and got a extra spark plug for each of my engines years ago. Never had to use one but they are on the shelf if needed.
