Generally she doesn't pay to much attention to what's in the shop. She just heads to the roll a way when she wants a crescent wrench to drive a nail, or beat on something else.

Hey Mark how much OCV does this PowerArc 200 put out? I didn't get a manual with it, checked the website to download one, but couldn't find it.

Enough to give you a good tingle... 70V.
Yes, I need to finish the manuals for this even though its fairly straight forward. Typically the Chinglish one in the box for this one is sufficient for this as there isn't much to it, but then if you didn't get one...

Yeah I kind of figured it was too straight forward to waste paper on:thumbsup:. I was just curious as to how many OCV it produced. Especially after talking about voltage on the thread about 7018 AC.
Thanks!

How easy is it to accidentally touch that 6010 port on the front? I assume both are hot when the welder is on. I know my old Sears has a couple of ports but you couldn't stick a finger in them and there's no exposed metal for something to accidentally touch.

Something tells me that if that little Everlast was gray she wouldn't even realize it was a welder with all those big ones around it. Is that why you bought it, figuring it would be too small to be noticed? :)

i saw a cutting torch on a job once, not sure but it may have been a 'harris' brand... anyway, it had a hammer head built into the barrel opposite the cutting tip.

we gave it to the carpenters and then made fun of them for the next 2 years :D:laughing::laughing::laughing:

If a person is feeling pretty stupid someday, its pretty easy to do, if he/she tries. :) Mind you, you need to aim directly for it. and you need to complete the circuit by grabbing hold of the work clamp or have your, moist wet body in direct contact with the ground. In reality its not any more dangerous than shoving an electrode into the holder. But this type thing has been around for years:

The ground lead goes there, so I don't know if it's an issue.

No I bought it for the Hot Start option, and to take a little load off my Dynasty. Just soon leave the Dynasty for a dedicated Tig welder. Which this worked out perfectly, the PowerArc 200 welds circles around that $6,000.00 Dynasty on SMAW!
