The "mini rut" pictures were between a spike and a barely three point.
Jim, The deer in the daylight photos are a spike and a doe. Might be the same spike in the possible rut photos that taken were two days later, camera in the same location. It's interesting that your two young bucks are jousting in the dark and in daylight. They must have been at it for long time. Perhaps, they are really buddies and just play fighting instead of serious territorial disputes. I love fox pictures too. They can sure reek havoc with your domestic fowl, but they are a beautiful animal. Since the sow and cub are around, do you think there is any chance of surprising them and her becoming defensive of the cub? If they are in the photos often, it must mean that your property is their normal range.
Turkeys in the driveway.
Here's a very recent shot I got with my Sony.........

Did you say bobcat? In the last couple of months there have been two photographed in the upper driveway. The first one was out on the edge of the flash but this guy just sauntered through and never turned around.Oh my! I think you probably have some happy cougars and bobcats in the area too. With all those turkeys, the wild cat population must have feathers in their mouths. I suspect your fox feasts on eggs and poults too.
WOW, that sure looks like a book deer. Got to be 190 with very minimal deductions!!!! What do you think he scored and how wide do you think he is?
Just an amazing buck. Thanks for sharing.

And now for something a bit different. There was a small pod (5 or 6) of Atlantic White-Sided Dolphins in the local river for the past week.
