No, the steering wheel and shifter is all going backward. Clutch, seat, ignition, controls and brakes also. Ken Sweet

sounds like it is fun to operate. I have seen a bota that could be reversed by just moving the placement of the seat and steering wheel. Everything else was still accesable, even in reverse. makes it nice for brush hogging and finish mowing.

Boy what I could do with that if it was mine. Talk about a head turner.

Well.....

...you already did the chrome hubcaps on the mower.

.....wood grain type steering wheel. Hmmm.............
If it were one of those rose wood ones...that might be worth seeing. What do ya think? Time for something new on the tractor?:D ...and maybe a wood grain dash to go with it?:thumbsup:

Hey Cyril. What about a wood grain dash like I put on the Wing?

I love burl wood. That would be awesome for the tractor dash.

Now you realize that since you suggested it, we'll be expecting pictures within six months.:D

4shorts, of all the mods you've listed, I failed to see where you've added an extra alternator plus a battery or two to power all of your lights, electronics, and charger cords???!! :D

It seems that the lack of a cab for the most of us is going to put a serious damper on what type of and the amount of 'pimping' we can do for our 'rides'.

Waxman, nice job on your tractor as well.

Kent, your tractor is "modified" alright, in a Frankenstine-ian way. Got to love that old Farmin' Enggi-neering. Just keep on keeping on loadin' them ehr pallets.

Six months Cyril. Good ord you must think I'm some slow

Ah the Alt was taken care of when I bought the beast. Canadian Kubota's come with a high output alternator because they also come with the three rear window rear defrost, rear lights and considering all the lights excluding the top emergency light are LED's it handles it with ease.
If there's no cab on the tractor that's the first place to start to pimp or customize :D

Nope. I just know that winter is your busy time for the tractor. I'm not sure how early the snow starts to fall where you're at, so I figured I better give you some grace.:D

"Spinner" Wheels will be next, and maybe a Fart-Can Muffler!

Ah Cyril are you trying to tell me and a nice way that I'm a "Pimp" or even a "Pimper" ? Ya I know it's a bit much BUT you got to admit It's all practical additions. Now if I chromed the wheels and replaced the steering wheel with a wood grain type steering wheel then installed a GPS along with a satellite dish I could see that being questionable. :D

Hey 4,

So when is the new steering wheel arriving? :) hehehe.

Every time I see pic's of your tractor I'm amazed. That my friend is one sweet machine! I even own a Kioti!!

Carry on

Cyril we usually start to get our snow in October. It may not stay but that's when it starts falling. You know me well. Your right. winter is crazy here with running the shop plus snow clearing.

Now you got me considering a wheel  Have a look :D I almost had that very same Kioti model you have before I bought the Kubota. The only reason I got the Kubota was the Kioti dealer couldn't tell me when the tractor would arrive at there dealership.

That was in 08 and the first year that model came out with HST. Considering I had snow clearing contracts to take care of I bought the Kubota because it was on the Kubota's dealers lot. That's why I call it "Kioti Killer"

You have a very nice tractor there sir and I would have had one if the dealer had one on the lot BUT I'm still happy with the Kubota. Thanks for your kind words. Glad you like my tractor. Wonder what shag carpet would be like in it?

Paul, my vote is for the orange wheel, looks like it could be a factory Kubota accessory for the very well to do. Is that orange leather on it too?

Not that I want to do it to my dash but how did you do the woodgrain on the bike?

/ Who has done the most customization? #34
OK.
When purchased my Mitsu was an open station tractor with only a FEL.
I built a cab.
Added a heater.
Added wipers front and rear.
Added an AM-RM sterio.
Made a sub frame and added a front 6ft snow plow using fel (less bucket) to raise.
Added fans to cool the operator as well as to blow the skitter out of the cab.
Added a rear weight (cast iron 300# elevator weight)
Added trailer reciever on the rear weight.
Installed aux power plug (anderson) to boost vehicles.
Mounted an electric winch on a plate that fits the trailer hitch to pull logs; power is from the booster cable outlet.
Added large hooks on passenger side to carry rakes and such.
Chain saw scabbord on FEL arm.
3 hooks on the FEL bucket.
Work lights front and rear for snow work.
Yellow rotating beacon for snow remouval. (and when traveling on the road).
Also slow moving triangle and lots of red glow tape in rear with white on side of loader arms.
Electric power for snow blower rotation using el cheepo winch for rotation.
Dome light to find things at night.
Coat hook for when cab is too warm in winter.
Expanded tool box under the seat.
Seat re covered using leather. (very comfy)
Rear shovel hanger.
Pallet forks.
Z shaped drag fron 3" channel to grade my drive.
And lastly, beverage holder (for hot coffee)

Snow/ice chains. (really not a mod)

Costliest of all was 2 new main tires just 2 weeks ago. OUCH! (no choice)

Do I get a prize? LOL!

All fun projects with much ideas from TBN (occasionally modified to suit)

My vote is for the red on black steering wheel.

Now if you put a chain steering wheel on it, that is just as bad as a fart-can muffler and dingleballs. :D

Wax I like the orange one as well BUT I had a brain storm today and came up with another idea with the wheel so I'll be looking into it Monday  The Wood grain was made for the GoldWing. You can purchase a kit for them. I added it to be a little different than the rest. The speaker grills you see I painted to match the candy apple red of the bike. I did that with a number of other items on the bike. Here's a few pics of the Wings dash. The first one was when I first bought it and the other is how it looks now.

You've done a pile of work on that machine. How about some photo's or a link to them ?

That's easy...

...hard to clean.:D:D:laughing:

Ah heck. I might just throw sawdust on the floor

My vote goes to this tractor/backhoe , the attention to detail and the craftsmanship are second to none . Few people have an eye for such detail as this man has .

wow, don't know if it counts for custom. different maybe:D

It's more custom than anything I've seen here before. It appears to have been built to do a job. But I guess we define "customize" and "accessorize" differently. As far as I'm concerned, lights, radios, gadgets, grills, tops, etc don't fall into the class of customization but simply an attempt to accessorize a tractor.

If you can buy it and bolt it on, it's not custom. It's just a mass produced accessory that anyone can have. What's "custom" about that?
