No More County Decals

County stickers?? what purpose where/are they for?? license plate isn't enough?? really just curious...

I still live in a relatively free country (Texas) and I have never heard of that, interesting.

Seems like a "no more stickers"= same cost, is another way to make a buck.

Western, check and see who you put on the "Pay to the order of:" line on your check when you renewed your vehicle registration. Yup, we do it here in God's Country too, it just isn't called a "County Sticker".

You still have to pay for plates, the sticker is an extra cost.

Doesn't Ohio still have the county stickers you have to buy for the license plate? No Personnal propertytax , but they did have a sticker. This sticker shows the county you live in. It let the local law know who was not local.

Yes, but these days it's just a number on the sticker. Each number represents a particular county.

Right, no extra cost for the tag that denotes what county your vehicle is registered in.

We pay for registration much like most folks with a vehicle, boat or trailer do, but to get socked with a county sticker? Even us rednecks in Texas still pretty much know where we live after a long day's fishing, say maybe after a couple cool ones.
Of course they may see that and see the added revenue.

Stark county?

You're close, but no cigar.

With a name like "buckeyefarmer" you should know your Ohio counties well enough to figure out where I'm at (if not Stark).

In Virginia I lived in Gloucester county.

Louisville, Alliance, Minerva?
I'm just south of Minerva, but in Carroll County. Minerva is actaully at the cross roads of Carroll, Columbiana, and Stark counties.:D

Actually they are in canton. they used to be in the country, the city grew around them.

A brother works over near new philly, a sister lives a little south of you. another sister up in cleveland..... but I never been to minerva that I recall. I do make it to some of the amish restaurants over wilmot, walnut creek maybe once a yr or so.
