Picked the picture from the INTERNET.:)

Back when there were a lot of four wheel pull type graders. Also some tractors were extended and a blade mounted in the middle.

There were also side discharge elevating scrapers that moved the dirt from the ditch to the road.

If you go looking for land planes a current manufacturer should show up.:thumbsup:

I got a Boxblade, Landscape rake, and a Rear blade with custom gauge wheels. I have to say that out of all of them, i like the rear blade the best. They all have their purposes but for just grading gravel, the rear blade is #1. If there are a lot of pot holes, the boxblade typically works better and if there are a lot of larger rocks mixed in, then the landscape rake works better. It all depends on your road. I dont only grade 1 driveway, but actually 2 so i needed all these to get the job done. :thumbsup:

whether you choose a box blade or a scraper (angle) blade...the most valuable asset you can buy is a hydraulic top link...
