GC2400 No Start

My new GC2400 has been a dream until today. It does not turn over when the key is turned. The obvious things like levers in neutral and fuses have been checked. I have power to all lights and to the ignition system but the starter does not engage. A little strange for 104 hours...

PTO switch is off? Seat switch problem maybe??

Ditto.... I'd definitely be checking all the interlock switches: seat, PTO, Hi-Lo-neutral, etc. Had that happen to me once- it was the hi-lo selector; it wasn't quite all the way in neutral.

The Wire under the Seat got pinched on my GC 2410 and it sounds very simular to the problem you are experiencing, so be sure to check if that may be an issue.
